Ombudsman process

NOTE ON EXTRAJUDICIAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION FOR CONSUMERS
 

HANSAINVEST has joined the ombudsman’s office for investment funds of BVI Bundesverband Investment und Asset Management e.V. (“BVI”).

Consumers can contact the ombudsman’s office for investment funds free of charge to resolve disputes with the company in connection with the Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch (German Capital Investment Code). Consumers are all natural persons who enter into a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity. More details can be found in the “Rules of procedure of the ombudsman’s office for investment funds of BVI”.

HANSAINVEST exclusively participates in dispute resolution before this arbitration board. It does not participate in the proceedings of other state-approved arbitration bodies.


Arbitration requests must be in sent in text form, in German, to the BVI’s ombudsman’s office. Contact details are as follows:

Contacting the BVI ombudsman’s office does not affect the right to involve ordinary courts.

Please contact us about any problems before initiating proceedings with the ombudsman’s office for investment funds. Many issues can already be resolved in this way. We will be happy to assist you further.
